Longitudinal changes in microstructural white matter metrics in Alzheimer's disease

White matter changes, including reduced fractional anisotropy and increased mean diffusivity, are detectable in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients. These microstructural alterations in white matter may serve as early biomarkers for AD diagnosis.
