  • Three adult cases (ages 35-56) presented with Blaschko-linear dermatoses on extremities.
  • Clinical diagnoses included linear lichen planus or blaschkitis, but histopathology revealed features consistent with lichen striatus.

Findings:

  • Significant overlap exists between adult blaschkitis, lichen striatus, and linear lichen planus.
  • These conditions may represent a spectrum, challenging precise diagnosis based on clinical or histological findings alone.

Implications:

  • Accurate diagnosis of blaschkolinear dermatoses necessitates thorough clinico-pathologic correlation.
  • The findings support the concept of a broad spectrum of blaschkolinear dermatoses, encompassing AB and LS.
