Summary

This study shows that a biomimetic bone substitute containing equine collagen I and Mg-hydroxyapatite effectively preserves tooth extraction sockets. The equine collagen I and Mg-hydroxyapatite composite demonstrated excellent biocompatibility and improved healing.
