Tonsillectomy is a common pediatric surgical procedure, necessitating clear and accessible patient education.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the readability, comprehensiveness, and consistency of online recommendations for parents of children undergoing tonsillectomy.
To identify deficiencies in online educational materials regarding perioperative care.

Main Methods:

A cross-sectional study of 30 English-language websites providing information on pediatric tonsillectomy.
Readability was assessed using three validated measures; content analysis evaluated perioperative education domains.
Frequency effect sizes and percentile ranks quantified recommendation dispersion.
