Hebb repetition effects for non-verbal visual sequences: determinants of sequence acquisition

The Hebb repetition effect in visual memory depends on item overlap and motor response repetition. Learning occurs without item overlap and is enhanced by repeating motor responses, supporting amodal memory representations.
