Surgical Case Study

Background:

Seminal vesicle cysts are rare congenital anomalies.
They can present with diverse symptoms, including pain and ejaculatory dysfunction.

Observation:

A patient presented with a symptomatic right seminal vesicle cyst.
A comprehensive diagnostic workup included pelvic ultrasound, endorectal ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Findings:

Surgical removal of the cyst was successfully performed.
The case facilitated a discussion on the epidemiology, diagnostic modalities, and treatment strategies for seminal vesicle cysts.

Implications:

This case contributes to the limited literature on symptomatic seminal vesicle cysts.
Accurate diagnosis and timely surgical intervention are crucial for symptom resolution.
