Bidirectional association between ESRD dialysis and diabetes: National cohort study

End-stage renal disease (ESRD) dialysis is a risk factor for new-onset diabetes mellitus (NODM), though less so than diabetes is for ESRD dialysis. These conditions show a bidirectional relationship.
