Summary

Antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), aptamers, and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) have undergone extensive clinical trials. Six oligonucleotide therapeutics, evaluated by January 2017, demonstrated clear clinical benefit in rigorous studies.
