Premature Ventricular Complex Causing Ice-Pick Headache.

Background:

Ice pick headache is a primary headache disorder causing brief, sharp pains.
Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) are early heartbeats, usually benign without structural heart disease.

Observation:

A male patient experienced recurrent, momentary headache attacks.
These headaches were accompanied by sudden episodes of chest pain.

Findings:

The patient's headache and chest pain episodes were temporally associated with premature ventricular contractions.
This suggests a potential link between these neurological and cardiac phenomena.

Implications:

This case highlights a possible, previously unreported association between ice pick headaches and premature ventricular contractions.
