Purpose of the Study:

  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety of BAV.

  • Analyze outcomes in patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective analysis of 200 patients from June 2009 to May 2016.
  • Inclusion of demographic, clinical, procedural, and follow-up data.
  • Analysis of patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis and high comorbidity.

  • BAV performed for palliation (59%), bridging to TAVI (27.5%), and bridging to surgical AVR (13.5%).
