Ureteroarterial fistulas (UAFs) are rare but dangerous. Endovascular treatment for UAFs shows better early results and lower mortality compared to open surgery, though long-term data is needed.

- Standardized antibiotic protocols for UAFs are currently lacking, necessitating further research.
