Slotted labyrinthotomy approach with customized electrode for patients with common cavity deformity

The transmastoid slotted labyrinthotomy approach (TSLA) significantly reduces cochlear implantation surgery time in common cavity deformity (CCD) patients. Customized electrodes may further improve audiological outcomes in these complex cases.
