Abstract:
A 22-year-old male presented with medial sided instability of the right knee three days after shooting a blocked ball. Physical examination, which is usually feasible in the acute phase, showed grade 3 laxity of the superficial medial collateral ligament. MRI confirmed a distal rupture, which needs repair within 2 weeks after onset.
