Introduction:
Bibliotherapy, the practice of healing through stories, is described throughout this article. Case reports show how stories can be used as both a diagnostic tool and a treatment option. Family physicians use bibliotherapy in an all-inclusive manner to heal, consolidate and deepen patient-doctor relationships, help heal the healers and teach medicine. Stories are clinical tools that connect the patients' world with that of their doctors. Stories are a simple tool that don't require great skill and can enhance any patient or physician's experience.
