Risk factors associated to bilateral rotator cuff tears.

Metabolic risk factors like diabetes are more common in patients with bilateral rotator cuff tears compared to those with single-sided tears. Age, BMI, and repetitive work also increase the likelihood of bilateral rotator cuff tears.

- These findings highlight the importance of considering systemic and occupational factors in the management of rotator cuff pathology.
