Summary

Many parents experience decisional conflict when not involved in treatment decisions for their children. Offering treatment options significantly reduces this conflict, improving parental understanding and confidence.

  • Shared decision-making interventions should be evaluated and implemented to support parental involvement and reduce decisional conflict in pediatrics.
