Summary

Pre-treating dentin with chlorhexidine or MI Paste did not affect immediate bond strength. Differences in bond strength were observed when comparing different adhesive systems, not the pretreatment methods.

  • The choice of adhesive system plays a more significant role in determining bond strength than the tested pretreatment methods.
  • Further research may explore long-term effects and different restorative materials.
