Dermatitis caused by arthropods in domestic environment: an Italian multicentre study

• A strong correlation exists between clinical diagnosis and etiological identification of arthropod ectoparasitoses in domestic environments.
• Effective management of skin lesions necessitates integrated efforts between dermatologists and parasitologists to eradicate infestation sources.
