Treatment with diclofenac appears to be more effective compared to other NSAIDs in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the large joints. Acute appendicitis without perforation signs should be treated conservatively if possible. Mindfulness meditation could prevent the recurrence of episodes in major depression. Oropharyngeal exercises could reduce the frequency and intensity of snoring. The choice of treatment in Helicobacter pylori infection must consider its effectiveness and tolerance. Concomitant use of statins and vitamin D could be an interesting alternative treatment in migraines.
