Klotho dysfunction: A pathway linking the aging process to bipolar disorder?

Bipolar disorder (BD) patients showed higher plasma Klotho levels than controls, contrary to expectations. This suggests Klotho may be linked to BD progression, warranting further investigation into mood disorders.
