The New Zealand Medical Journal
|June 27, 1979
Abstract:
The experience with operative cholangiography during cholecystectomy on 59 consecutive patients in a small peripheral hospital is presented. This investigation is feasible in a small hospital and can lead to visualisation of stones or abnormality of the lower end of the common bile duct, otherwise unsuspected, to the benefit of the patient.
