This study examined performance validity tests (PVT) in individuals with Parkinson's disease and essential tremor undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery evaluation. Most candidates demonstrated adequate effort, suggesting PVTs are valuable in this motivated, at-risk population.
