Draft Genome Sequence of Methanobrevibacter smithii Isolate WWM1085, Obtained from a Human Stool Sample

We sequenced the genome of Methanobrevibacter smithii WWM1085, a common human gut microbe. This provides new insights into the genetic diversity of this important methanogen.
