Abstract:
The stable fixation of the cervical spine by means of a halo external fixator is superior in terms of stability compared with alternative methods. A new Halo external fixator system is being introduced which enables uncomplicated handling with which optimal possibilities for positional correction are achieved by means of lockable ball joints. By using carbon enhanced connection rods radiolucency is given.
