Prox1 represses IL-2 gene expression by interacting with NFAT2

Prospero-related homeobox 1 (Prox1) negatively regulates Interleukin-2 (IL-2) gene expression in T cells. Prox1 binds to NFAT2, inhibiting IL-2 production upon T cell activation.
