Mixtures of ionic liquids as more efficient media for cellulose dissolution

Ionic liquid mixtures efficiently dissolve cellulose, with a record 43g/100g solvent achieved using [C2mim]Cl and [C2mim][OAc] with DMSO. This process also enables cellulose regeneration into cellulose II.
