    • To investigate the relationship between self-concept and adjustment to rehabilitation in individuals with spinal cord injury.

    • One hundred fifty-seven individuals with spinal cord injury participated across three centers.
    • The Tennessee Self-Concept Scale (TSCS) measured self-concept.
