[Keratoacanthomas on recent tattoos: Two cases].

• Most lesions in the first case regressed spontaneously, while the second required excision.

Implications:

• The physiopathogenesis may be multifactorial, involving tattoo trauma, ink components (especially red), UV exposure, and genetic predisposition.
• Distinguishing KA from CSC in this context is challenging, but KA is considered a variant of CSC.
• Excision and monitoring of these lesions are recommended, with further research needed to identify causative tattoo ink agents.
