Sarcopenia in Peripheral Arterial Disease: Prevalence and Effect on Functional Status

Sarcopenia is common in older men with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), affecting 25% of those studied. Sarcopenia in PAD patients significantly reduces mobility and walking ability.
