Abstract:
The 2-step synthesis of [14 C]sodium ferrocyanide decahydrate is described. Ferrous hydroxide was prepared from iron powder and then reacted with [14 C]sodium cyanide to afford the product. The [14 C]sodium ferrocyanide decahydrate was characterized by HPLC and 13 C NMR.
