Assessing Specimens of Devitalized Tissue in Chronic Sacral Pressure Ulcers: A Pilot Study

This study analyzed devitalized tissue from pressure ulcers (PrUs), finding altered gene expression that promotes inflammation. Understanding these wound inflammation mechanisms may lead to new therapeutic strategies for chronic wounds.
