Summary

Coblation tonsillectomy significantly reduces post-operative pain and speeds recovery compared to bipolar tonsillectomy. Patients experience less pain and return to normal activities faster after coblation, requiring fewer analgesics.

Purpose of the Study:

Main Methods:

  • A total of 137 patients (aged 2-50 years) undergoing tonsillectomy or adenotonsillectomy were recruited.
