Background:

Churg-Strauss syndrome, also known as eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA), is a rare systemic vasculitis.
It is characterized by asthma, hypereosinophilia, and systemic small-to-medium vessel necrotizing vasculitis.
