[Endoscopic treatment of acute colonic pseudo-obstruction]

Abstract:
Four patients admitted on account of various extracolonic conditions developed acute pseudo-obstruction of the colon during hospitalisation. All of these were successfully treated with colonoscopic decompression. The technique is described.
