Polyethylene glycol-based bowel preparation before colonoscopy for selected inpatients: A pilot study

A new same-day, low-dose 1-L polyethylene glycol (PEG) bowel preparation proved effective for hospitalized patients with high risk for poor bowel prep. This method achieved a clear diagnosis without significant differences in cleansing compared to standard 4-L PEG.
