Resettlement of long-stay psychiatric patients

A follow-up study of patients from two long-stay psychiatric hospitals in East Yorkshire health authority looked at a sample of patients who had been discharged into the community and a sample within the institution. The study looked particularly at the quality of life of patients who had been discharged and at any differences between them and patients still living in the institution.
