Myocardial perfusion abnormalities in asymptomatic type 2 diabetic patients

A significant percentage of asymptomatic type 2 diabetes patients have coronary artery disease (CAD) abnormalities, detected via myocardial perfusion imaging. These perfusion defects are linked to diabetes duration and complications.
