    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the occurrence of skin diseases among food industry employees.
    • To identify specific occupational groups at higher risk for skin conditions.

    • An epidemiological cross-sectional study was conducted.
    • 1052 workers from a large food factory in Turku, Finland, participated.
    • Detailed examinations were performed on 541 female employees.
