Dual-hormone artificial pancreas: benefits and limitations compared with single-hormone systems

Dual-hormone artificial pancreas systems offer greater protection against hypoglycemia, especially during exercise. Single-hormone systems effectively manage overnight glucose control for type 1 diabetes. Further research is needed for long-term superiority.
