Sarcopenia in diabetic nephropathy: a cross-sectional study

The prevalence of sarcopenia, a loss of muscle mass, is higher in patients with diabetic nephropathy compared to healthy individuals. This study highlights a significant association between muscle wasting and diabetic kidney disease.
