Adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) significantly improves recurrence-free survival and overall survival in patients with HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) at intermediate or high risk of recurrence after surgery. The treatment was well-tolerated with no severe toxicity.
