Summary
Beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) secreting invasive columnar cell variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (CCV-PTC) shows a good prognosis. However, β-hCG positivity in anaplastic thyroid carcinoma indicates aggressive clinical courses.
