Newly credentialed athletic trainers (ATs) in secondary schools find professional commitment is fostered by good work-life balance, positive relationships with student-athletes, job enjoyment, and a sense of professional responsibility. Affective commitment, passion, and rejuvenation are key to maintaining this commitment.
