Abstract:
The authors studied the economic efficacy of 5-year follow-up and treatment of AH patients at the population level. An opportunity of a considerable decrease in AH morbidity and mortality was shown. In the intervention group all expenditures on AH control after 5-year treatment payed back 3-fold.
