PtAl truncated octahedron nanocrystals for improved formic acid electrooxidation

We developed novel platinum-aluminum (PtAl) alloy nanocrystals for improved formic acid electrooxidation. These PtAl nanocrystals show enhanced catalytic activity due to surface defects and Pt-Al synergy.
