No difference in the functional improvements between unilateral and bilateral total knee replacements

Both unilateral and bilateral total knee replacement (TKR) offer similar functional improvements for patients. This study found no significant difference in outcomes between staged or simultaneous bilateral TKR versus unilateral TKR.
