  • The LEMON criteria (look externally, evaluate 3-3-2, Mallampati score, obstruction, and neck mobility) are used to predict difficult airways.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate how cervical collars impact the LEMON criteria and predict difficult airways.
  • To analyze changes in mouth opening, Mallampati classification, and neck extension with cervical collar use.

Main Methods:

  • A simulation study involving 76 healthy volunteers.
  • Measurements of mouth opening, modified Mallampati classification, and neck extension were taken before and after cervical collar application.
