Phenylephrine does not improve oxygenation during one-lung ventilation: A randomized, double-blind, cross-over study

Phenylephrine infusion did not improve oxygenation during one-lung ventilation (OLV) in thoracic surgery patients. This study found no clinically significant effects on hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction (HPV) despite changes in other hemodynamic parameters.
