Is Rest Really Rest? Resting-State Functional Connectivity During Rest and Motor Task Paradigms

Simple motor tasks minimally impact resting-state brain networks identified by functional MRI (fMRI). This suggests fMRI studies with motor tasks can still reveal resting-state functional connectivity, even in non-motor regions.
