A new method for the assessment of endothelial function with peripheral arterial volume

A new noninvasive method using reactive hyperemia peripheral arterial volume (RH-PAV) shows promise for assessing endothelial function. This technique correlated well with traditional methods and identified impaired function in patients with cardiovascular risk factors.
